Stratford Senior A’s ready for action

THE SRSC Senior A squad for the 2010 season has had a change of guard.
Head coach for this season is Chris Drummond and he is assisted by Stephen Davidson.
Back on board are Steve Cunningham and Nadine Moore as our trainer and physio. There have also been changes amongst the ranks with newcomers Kevin Curtis, Codie Hall, David Hughes, Jason Potroz and Marcus Hancock joining the squad, along with Todd Curtis and Tim Gilmour being promoted from last season’s Under-20 squad. The team has put in a lot of good work over the pre-season period and is looking to be very competitive in 2010.
Owen Mills & Kevin Walsh of First National Real Estate is once again our major sponsor and we thank them and all our other sponsors very much for their continued support.
We can once again say we are a team made up of local players and with good numbers in the B squad there should be plenty of competition for starting spots amongst the players.

The senior squad for 2010 is:
Forwards - Daniel Bishop, Sean Kay, Kevin Curtis, Simon Childs, Evan Dickson, Steve Needham, Mike Robinson, Josh Edwards, Mike Hall, Jason Pepper, Jarrod Coster and Todd Curtis.
Backs - Gary Old, Geoff Gibb, Codie Hall, Simon Edwards, David Hughes, Tim Gilmour, Kerry Kretchmar, Jason Potroz, Marcus Hancock, Ollie Radich.
The team looks forward to see some good support again this season when they kick off our campaign this week against Coastal at Opunake.
