Sporting trials meeting

SPORTING trials Taranaki held a successful trial on Kelvin Hancock’s farm, near Normanby on Sunday. Ground conditions were very dry, so there was a lot of traction to get up the hills. Pictured here are  Brad Horgan, driving, and Philip Old, bouncing, during the day’s racing. Results: A grade; first Brad Horgan, second Mike Webber, third Murray Bridger who was fourth overall. B grade: first Gordon Marshal, third overall. Second Greg Prouse, third Steven Bridger. C grade: first Lance Prouse, second Ian Poletti, third Robin Poletti.
