THE Central Taranaki schoolboy rugby team at practice in Stratford on Tuesday, preparing to defend their title in the annual Ross Brown Tournament at Yarrows Stadium this weekend. The local lads won the tournament last year and on the weekend they will compete in a round robin format against teams from North, South and West Taranaki. They are pictured with coaches Chris Hall, Alan Rowlands and Quintin Oakes, as well as manager Mike O’Neill. The Ross Brown tournament has a fixture for 35 years, and the best players will be selected for the Taranaki under 13 rep team.
