Taranaki reps take on Wanganui | Taranaki Sport | Surfing, Rugby, Soccer, Football, Cricket in Taranaki

Fleet-footed Taranaki 12th grade soccer boys took on a strong Wanganui side at Stratford Primary School on Sunday.

The warm-up games prepared them for a mini tournament in Napier this weekend, and the culmination of the season, a five-day tournament in Paraparaumu later this month.

Stratford locals, Sam Brailsford, Tom Ferguson, Connor Hobbs and Nicholas Jager performed well under the expert eye of coach Steve Brailsford. Pictured is some of the action from the first of two games played on Sunday.
