The Taranaki Under 11 Girls' Hockey Team has had an extremely successful end to their season, winning a regional tournament held in Napier recently. Testament to their talent, the team didn't concede any goals, and scored too many to keep count! The team has many players new to the Taranaki representative scene and thanks to good team spirit and cohesive play, 2006 has been one of the team's most successful seasons to date.
