For the first time, the Stratford Rugby & Sports Club Premier 2 Netball Team (pictured) have made it into the finals.

The finals will be held in New Plymouth this Thursday September 7, starting at 6.30pm. The Stratford side will face a determined and strong Waitara team - Tyson. This will be the fourth time the two teams have played each other. Stratford have won once and lost twice.

A bus is being offered to the community to take supporters to cheer our local players on and leaves at 5.30pm from the rugby club.

Co-coaches Lucille Roodbeen and Paula Parore are hoping for a win which will allow the Stratford team to trial for Premier 1 Grade next season.
