They did it 100 years ago, and now, they have done it again. Strathmore were the proud winners of this year's Dean Cup challenge, and in centennial year to boot.
After losing the Cup to Toko earlier in the challenge, Strathmore had the chance to reclaim the title at the Toko Domain on Sunday.
Despite pouring rain, players and spectators alike were enthusiastic and gunning for a win.
A tough battle ensued with both teams not wanting to give an inch, but the final score rested at 13-3 to Strathmore.
Coach of the Strathmore side, Maaka Pakipaki was thrilled with the win.
"It is a real honour to win the Cup in our centennial year. Strathmore did it 100 year's ago and we have done it again 100 years later."
