STRATFORD entered a team into the Auckland Masters on Queens Birthday weekend.
After round robin play on Saturday, two wins out of four were notched up; it was unlucky not to win a third. This result was enough to finish second and be in the playoffs the next day.
The team delivered in the semis and finals, reversing the losses from the previous day to win the division.
The team was made up of Bruce Cleland, Lorraine Smith, Emily Dennis-Bishop, Dick van der lely, Shaun Cleland, Chris Gane and Brian Firth.

Taranaki Farmers B-Grade
Fire Rescue are the new holders of the Moore Cup after beating previous holders Cranky Yankees 5-0.
An improving Whipbacks team had a 4-0 win over new team All Sorts.
Bob suffered their first loss of the season and gave up the top of the points table after a 3 sets to 2 loss to high flying Boys and Girls.
All Stars had their first win of the season with a 3-1 win of All Inn.
Wot If got there season back on track after a couple of tough weeks with a 3-1 win against Duck or Bleed.
Lobbs Plumbing A-Grade
Headhunters defaulted there match to Nads. Nads didn’t just win their first game of the season, but they also are now the holders of the Blain Cup.
Egmont Rodders had the double header this week, but didn’t go too well. Firstly, their was a 4-0 loss to the top of the table Swahoah, then a 3-0 loss to second placed Lobbs Mob.
Fossils carried on their good form of the season to beat NPBHS 3-0. This week’s game of the week: NPBHS v Lobbs Mob.
