Stratford Primary teams take top spots | Taranaki Sport | Surfing, Rugby, Soccer, Football, Cricket in Taranaki

FOR THE first time since the competitions inception, two Stratford Primary School teams tackled each other in the final of the AMI Soccer Tournament.

The tournament was played last Wednesday at the Stratford Swansea Road Soccer Grounds between central Taranaki schools. Thanks to a stack of talented players from Stratford Primary, their Stratford and Stratford 1 teams knocked out the competition to battle it out for the top spot. The tournament was a coup for the school. The children from both teams were: Ryan Nolly, Adam Tyrer, Bevan Lehrke, Sam Brailsford, Tom Ferguson, Ryk Ferguson, Liam Jansen, Dylan Blair, Leaha Fisher, Grace Cole, Soli Lemamea, Brooke Wells, Luke Fisher, Jonathan Price, Harry de Groot, Daniel Frost, Owen Gordon and Jason Southey.
