BRAEDEN and Kieran Harrison.
THE talent continues to shine at St Joseph's Stratford with five of the school's students finding success in recent competitions and qualifying matches.
Braeden (8) and Kieran (12) Harrison both had success in the Combined Taranaki Martial Arts Competitions held in New Plymouth recently with Braeden taking second place in his division, and Kieran taking third in his.
Around 60 children competed across all divisions in the competition, with some competitors coming from as far as Auckland.
On the cricket pitch, Jacob Barrett, Hayden Malone and Nic Merson all made it into the South Taranaki Cricket Under-12 squad. The three were the only Stratford boys to make it into the squad, which will be playing in a large tournament based in Wanganui over the summer. There are also games scheduled in North Taranaki, so the team is looking forward to a busy season. Selection for the squad is especially significant for Hayden Malone who has made an excellent recovery since having a kidney transplant last year.
