RISING local soccer star, Sam Brailsford is heading down south to try and win over some of the best in the business.
Sam has travelled down to Wellington this week for a second New Zealand Soccer trial, having impressed in his first trial a few months ago.
The selectors are looking to form a squad of players by Christmas to train together and progress to the U17 World Cup next October in Mexico.
This is the last trial for all the boys before the selection is made.
“Sam is very aware what’s on the line,” says proud dad, Steve.
“This is his the last opportunity to impress, and he’s been training very hard with Glenn Hopper, his personal soccer coach.”
