Ready to rescue

Eltham fire fighters showed off their impressive rescuing skills last Saturday, when the team held a community fundraiser to raise their profile.
The team of six held a rescue demonstration at Eltham's Car Brokers to raise funds for next year's crash rescue competitions.
As well as raising awareness and with the summer holidays fast approaching the group also wanted to highlight important road safety messages.
The almost new team are keen to continue with the high standard of winning set by the past crash rescue teams. Kevin Barry said the team is continually training and will be ready to tackle next year's contest. Currently, the Eltham Fire Brigade have 24 volunteers, including two women.
The team: Antony Jones, Kevin Barry, Anthony O'Hanlon, Simon Cudmore and Basil Jones.
