Inglewood Primary School released balloons to celebrate.

Inglewood Primary School celebrated their fourth year running the REACH programme last Friday with a special assembly to relaunch the values to the students for 2007.

REACH stands for Respect, Expect, Achieve, Communicate and Huroa and since the programme has been running in the school the positive atmosphere has noticeably increased. To celebrate their past achievements, and to welcome a new and fruitful year, a group of students put on skits revolving around each of the five values in a bid to be crowned Mr and Mrs REACH, a fun and entertaining way to relate to all the age levels in the school. Judged by the school's associate principals, all the presentations were given acclaim for successfully portraying the school's values, and the student body enthusiastically took part in the musical aspects of the assembly. To top the event off, over 100 balloons were released by the students with information about REACH and contact details for the school attached to them to see how far their valued message could be spread.
