Impressive stitching and vibrant colour are the focal point of the latest exhibition at the Fritz Reuter Gallery in Inglewood, thanks to the talents of the local quilting group.

With 36 members, the group has a diverse range of quilting styles and themes and the exhibition is the cumulative effort of the women who come from many different backgrounds and vocations.

The group meets twice a month to discuss ideas and glean skills from their peers. The exhibition is revolving, with a new set of quilts ready for display next week, adding an extra element of interest. The exhibition runs till October 18 and is open daily from 10am-4pm.
