Mini gymnasts shine at champs
The Stratford Gymnastic Club Level 2 Girls' Team placed third in the teams' competition at the recent Taranaki Open Gymnastic Championships.
Held at New Plymouth on Saturday September 2, the girls did really well to get the placing they received among such high competition. Pictured are Chloe Drabble, Jacinta Frost, Rylie Saywell, Aria Nicholls, Kerryn Jansen. Chloe is in Level 2C and placed second on the beam, floor and second overall. She was part of a composite team with three Waitara girls who placed second in the teams' event. In the Level 2B competition, Rylie placed third on the bar and sixth overall, with Jacinta placing seventh.
