With native trees raised by Pukeiti, help from Shell Todd Oil Services and in conjunction with the Taranaki Rhododendron Festival, parents of children registered with Plunket in the past year joined together for a tree planting ceremony.

Stratford Plunket and half a dozen parents and babies braved the showers to plant 20 rimu trees at the King Edward Park Rhododendron Dell. With help from the Stratford District Council who pre-dug the holes, it was great to continue the environmental efforts the Rhododendron Festival is highlighting this year.
