Kids try in school holiday triathlon

Children flocked to the TSB Pool on Friday to be a part of their triathlon, held in conjunction with the school holidays. The children competed in short swims, runs and bike rides and were supervised and cheered on by pool staff, senior Flyers squad members and parents.
Hayden Hendry and Brittany Kivell were the first boy and girl home in the over 8-years-old category and Dean Hughes and Megan George were the first boy and girl to finish in the under-8s.
Every child was awarded a spot prize, which was donated by businesses.
