Kaponga School runs in a win | Taranaki Sport | Surfing, Rugby, Soccer, Football, Cricket in Taranaki

THEY haven't won since 1998, but Kaponga Primary School showed that they are more than capable of doing so when they won the District School Relay Championships last Wednesday. The team had to be made up of four children whose combined age equals forty, and students Temarnia Dean, Luke Dean, Kate Tulloch and Ngariana Millar took up the challenge. Competing against students from St Patricks' Kaponga, Auroa, Ngaere and St Jospehs' Opunake, the team won the event, which is held at Victoria Park in Kaponga, hands down.
