The best twilight scores were N Smillie 21; P Whittle 20; A Bevins and M Smillie at 19; J Cusdin, B Needham and T Adlam at 18.
The club will host Police Day on February 1, defending its title playing for the Ian Latham helmet.
The wrong dates were given by the club last week, so note that the official opening day for the 2013 season is on February 10, starting with the Hcp Match play and San Rosa Trophy 1st round; February 17 is the first round of the Captains Trophy and Putting.
Stratford Seniors
The best among the ladies in Friday's stableford were Sheryl Stanners 41; Ann Braithwaite 40; and Bobby Oliver 39. Accuracy: Dianne Morresey. Twos: Dianne and Ann.
Men: Mike Walsh 44; Neil Bertie 43; Norm Webby, David Bates 40; Robin Love 39. Accuracy: Denis Behrent. Twos: Denis and M Walsh. Nine holers: S Homann 18; Doreen Mackay 16.
Stratford Men
Best score in the Graham Cup first round last Saturday was from John Cusdin and Henry Morton with a nett 57, just ahead of Jayden Rinaldi and Robbie Barnard's 57.3.
Bob Cave and Dave Banham came in third with 60.3. Rumour has it that the first two teams are unable to play this coming Saturday. Tee-off is from 10.30am.
The Jim Arthur Memorial interclub with Inglewood is on Waitangi Day, February 6. Assemble at 10am for a mass start 10.30am. $10 entry.
The Handicap Pennants start on February 10, against Manaia at Fitzroy.
