MOUNTAIN Motors Flyers Swim Squad competed successfully at the Wellington Long Course Championships January 16-19.

With 14 Flyers aged 9-14 years competing against over 500 swimmers from across theNorth and South Island strong competition was provided.

The team attained many qualifying times for the New Zealand National Age Groups, New Zealand National Juniors & New Zealand Div II meets to be held February/March. The Flyers squad brought home 17 Gold, 13 Silver, and 14 Bronze Medals with these swimmers making 87 finals from 112 events.

Joellen Hughson-How (9), and Matthew Anderson (10) were named swimmer of the meet in their respective age groups.
