Mark and Matthew Phipps.
Stratford Speedway's first night of racing opened with a bang on Saturday with hundreds of people heading along to see the action, and of course, fireworks.
Local mini-stock drivers, Matthew (23) and Mark (20) Phipps were amped for their first night of racing on their home turf.
Matthew had his first season in his own car last year and is starting this year with a refreshed engine and a new paintjob.
Mark's car is brand new this season and has been three months in the making, putting the final touches on the engine.
Both cars were built locally. Matthew's was started by his uncle, Noel Phipps, and the finishing touches were done by Bevan Phillips.
Bevan was also responsible for Mark's car.
Both drivers are looking forward to a great season of speedway.
