Eltham kids celebrate Roald Dahl | Taranaki News | Local News in Taranaki

In honour of Roald Dahl's birthday the Eltham Library Plus had an entertaining morning reading his books to dozens of Eltham Primary School children. The children came dressed back to front, in pyjamas, with unmatching shoes and socks.

The two classrooms had made a poster to celebrate his birthday and brought it along to show the library staff. Lynette, the newest staff member held the kids absolutely captivated with excerpts from Revolting Rhymes and The Witches.

Lynette wore a yellow raincoat (yellow being his favourite colour) and a witch's hat she had made herself.
