Garden Delights was filled with beautiful choreography.

Graceful moves and beautiful choreography made for a lovely morning at Merleswood Garden in Midhirst on Sunday when dancers from the Val Deakin Dance Theatre Trust performed their Garden Delights programme.

The mood was set by talented musicians, Ross Townsend and Jocelyn Booth, who charmed the small but appreciative crowd with guitar and flute pieces.

The dancers performed pieces all choreographed by Val Deakin including Spanish dances, solos to the music of Charlie Parker,

Summertime, which celebrated the weather, fairy variations to Tchaikovsky and a 1920s section which focused on 'Forever Bubbles' which looks at Kiwi women in the home.

If you didn't catch the show last weekend, Garden Delights is being performed in Eltham on Saturday, February 24, at Redwood Oaks, 80 King Edward Street at 1pm.

Don't miss your chance to see talented dancers in a beautiful setting!
