Cycling time trials

Another consistent turnout of riders, plus four new faces, rode in windy conditions down to the cemetery and back from Regan Street and showed some promising results.

First off the mark was young Brittany Taylor who, after watching her father Craig every week, decided she had better show him how it's done. Brittany went down to the lavender farm and return in a time of 13mins 24secs. Local runner Richard Dodds who just happened to be cycling past, decided to have a go and didn't disgrace himself in a time of 15mins 01seconds. Toria Adamson came back with a vengeance and grabbed the top women's time back, with 13mins 50secs, knocking Julie Roberts off the throne which she had held for a week . Next woman was another newcomer, Cindy Baldwin, in a time of 16mins 22 secs. Local Stratford cyclist Barry Jordan won the men's section in a time of 13mins 02secs. Damien Nielsen and Craig Taylor had another close tussle, with Damien beating Craig by one second in a time of 13mins 27secs.

Congratulations to Dennis Gibbon on passing his course.

This Thursday we are back up at the Mountain Gates for the last time trial for the season up to The Mountain House.
