So, after a year you've probably heard enough of Adele, right? No? How about Bruno Mars, Katy Perry or Maroon 5?

They're all here on this 22-track compilation of 2012 Grammy Awards nominees. And Adele-fatigue aside, it's not a bad collection.

Although there's an understandable dominance of pop sounds, artists such as the Black Keys and Bon Iver also make appearances.

Foster the People's groovy Pumped Up Kicks is a welcome inclusion, as is Lady Gaga's underrated country-tinged You & I.

In fact, there's a fair bit of country pop on here, including Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Jason Aldean and Eric Church - possibly too much for the Kiwi audience.

In this age of the download single you may well already own your favourite songs, but for many this would be a nice reminder of some of the best hits of the past year.
