Eltham President Colvyn Towers cutting the cake
The Eltham RSA celebrated 80 years of service as well as honouring the 90th Anniversary of the Royal New Zealand RSA. Eltham President Colvyn Towers (pictured) cut the specially made cake to mark the event and vice president Gavin Bennett gave a presentation about a collection of RSA and Armed Forces badges he had borrowed. The club welcomed three new members - Joel Parker and Jimmy Mayor (service members) and Patsy Lawson (associate member and new secretary).
The Eltham RSA has 46 members and 20 returned soldiers. The celebration evening was held at the Eltham Fire Station at the end of September.
