BRETT Thomas of Stratford was this week announced to be the Top Novice Cadet Driver in the North Island for harness racing. Brett (20) currently lives in Cambridge, where he works as foreman for trainer Mike Berger. He has been interested in horses since he was 10, and for the past 18 months has been seriously into harness racing.
