A great day at the Stratford races | Taranaki Sport | Surfing, Rugby, Soccer, Football, Cricket in Taranaki

Perfect weather, great race conditions and plenty of action made the Stratford Racing Club Race Day a great success.

More than a thousand people from across Taranaki and beyond filled Te Kapua Park and enjoyed a full race programme on New Year's Eve, December 31.

Plenty of entertainment by the Stratford Pipe Band and heaps of activities for children gave families a fun day out. Over 60 spot prizes were won during the day and all races were keenly contested.
